Former President John Mahama has extended warm wishes to Muslims across the country as they join the rest across the world to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.
In a Facebook video, the former President urged Muslims to still observe social distancing and other safety protocols in order to protect themselves against the deadly COVID-19.

Muslims are unable to converge to mark the occasion because of the restrictions against public gathering in the wake of COVID-19.
