CCTU tells Police to expedite investigations into murder of female L 300 student as her boyfriend is arrested



The Management of the Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) has said it received with sadness the news of the murder of a Level 300 Marketing student, Nana Ama Clark.


According to Police sources, the body was found at OLA, a suburb of Cape Coast around 9:00 pm on Friday. It is difficult

to comprehend and express the enormity of the loss of this bright and promising young student.


Management of the University called on the Ghana Police Service to expedite action on its investigation and bring the perpetrators of this gruesome murder to face the full rigours of the law.


“In the meantime, Management wishes to assure students, parents, guardians and the general public that security at the University remains strong.


“On behalf of the University, Management wishes to extend its deepest and heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and loved ones,” a statement said.


Meanwhile the boyfriend of the murdered student has been picked up by the police and arraigned before court.


Nicholas Ato Taylor was consequently remanded into police custody on Monday to reappear on Tuesday, May 31.
