600 Kumasi Technical University students struggle with second semester exams

More than 600 students at Kumasi Technical University won't be able to take their second semester exams because they don't have enough time to register.

The students are appealing to the academic board for permission to write the exams, but the university has granted them a deferment opportunity.

Six announcements from the university have been released, including an extension of the deadline and a gateway for registration that will remain open until August 3, 2023.

Adofo Silas Denkyira, a representative for the students, claims that their inability to make the deadline is due to the current state of the economy.

The Academic Board and the Students' Representative Council (SRC) are still in discussion to find a middle ground.
