Six dead in gory accident at Awoshie



Six passengers are feared to have lost their lives in a tragic accident at the Banyard intersection in Awoshie, Accra. The incident occurred when a red passenger vehicle, registered as GW 6302-21, collided with an unattended truck bearing the registration number GB 8896-21 and the brand inscription “Everpure”.


Eyewitness Emmanuel Bekoe, a driver at Citi FM/Citi TV, recounted that the driver of the passenger vehicle and at least five passengers tragically lost their lives at the scene around 3:40 am. The police arrived promptly to manage the situation.



The specific details of the incident, including the direction in which the passenger vehicle was traveling, remain unclear due to the complex nature of the intersection. Witnesses have noted that the abandoned truck did not display any visible signs of damage.
