Purchase sufficient credit for January 25-26 as ECG undertakes maintenance works

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has issued a notice to its customers regarding the CLOU prepayment Metering System's server. Due to scheduled repair works on the system, ECG has advised all CLOU prepaid customers to ensure they have purchased enough credit to cover the period of January 25 to 26.

In a statement released to customers, ECG stated, “The Electricity Company of Ghana will undertake emergency maintenance works on the CLOU Prepayment Metering System's server…All CLOU prepaid customers are therefore being advised to purchase enough credit that will last for the period of the downtime.” The company also expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to affected customers.

This announcement comes at a time when customers in various parts of the country have been experiencing erratic power supply, impacting business operations. Despite government officials denying the return of ‘Dumsor', the intermittent power situation continues to pose challenges.

ECG remains committed to ensuring a reliable and efficient power supply for all its customers and appreciates their cooperation during this maintenance period.
