According to the police, four suspects have been detained thus far in relation to the robbery attack on a bullion truck at Ablekuma on June 22 that ended in the death of a police officer. One of the suspects was arrested yesterday Saturday, July 15.
The four are being held as police conduct an investigation.
On Sunday, July 16, the Police released a statement in which they promised to provide more information "in due course."
The attack's victim, a cop, was shot several times at close range.
The tragic tragedy happened after an attempted robbery at the Star Oil Filling Station in the Accra neighborhood of Ablekuma Fan Milk.
The bullion van went to refuel at the gas station, where the gunfight took place, and the four criminals were claimed to have followed it.
