A total of 122,275 individuals who are eligible for national service have been assigned to various institutions across the country in order to fulfill the mandatory one-year period of service for the 2022/2023 season.
The recruitment of personnel for the year 2023 shall be comprised of Ghanaian graduates of accredited tertiary institutions from the country, any defaulters who have submitted their applications for posting, and any private registrants.
On Monday, October 16, 2023, regional validation and registration will start at all centers around the nation.
This is to make room for future service members who haven't finished their academic programs.

On Friday, September 29, 2023, Osei Assibey Antwi, Executive Director of the National Service System, issued a press release announcing this.
The NSS management stated in the statement that it does not support changing postings and advised staff to stay away from contacting anonymous people or groups who claim to be able to change postings.
