We are deeply saddened to report on a tragic accident involving a bus carrying young Ivorian nationals on an excursion to Ghana. The incident occurred at Anomabo in the Central Region, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.
Eyewitnesses have suggested that overspeeding may have been a contributing factor to the accident, although the exact cause remains unclear at this time.
Following the somersault of the bus near Anomabo Hospital, passengers were left trapped inside until the collective efforts of fellow victims and onlookers helped to overturn the bus and bring the trapped individuals to safety.
The injured were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
