We are deeply saddened to report the tragic passing of Charles Sekyi Nhyira, a second-year Communication Design student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Charles lost his life in a devastating road accident at Taifa on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
The unfortunate incident occurred as Charles was returning from celebrating his birthday, and eyewitnesses have indicated that excessive speeding was a contributing factor to the crash, resulting in critical injuries. Despite being promptly taken to the hospital, Charles ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
Charles was on the brink of commencing his third year at KNUST, and his untimely departure has left the university community in shock. His peers and friends are mourning the loss of a talented and promising young individual.
