Enhance working conditions to reduce overseas travel expenses – Nurses to Government

The Union of Professional Nurses and Midwives is asking the government to make it easier for nurses to work in the country, so they don't have to leave.

They're worried that the economy isn't giving nurses the chance to stay and do their best work.

At the inaugural meeting of the Regional Council of the Union in Tamale, Maxwell Odurah, the Union's National President, expressed the Union's commitment to continuing to serve humanity.

He expressed the Union's assurance that its members would continue to provide the highest quality of service, while also calling on the government to improve their working environment and services.

We will continue to reach out to our members who are thinking about leaving the country, just as we anticipate the economic situation to improve.

Since its founding in 2017, UPNMG has grown to include more than 15,000 people nationwide, 4,693 of whom are located in the north.
