GES arrests West Africa SHS head for unauthorized money collection

The headmistress of West Africa Senior High School, Dr. Mrs. Shine Agatha Ofori, has been interdicted by the management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) for unlawfully collecting money from students.

The investigation and decision-making process will be handled by the Regional Disciplinary Committee.

GES made this announcement in a statement dated July 19 that was signed by Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the director of public relations.

Until the regional disciplinary committee renders a final decision in the case, she must turn over control of the school to the regional director of education.
