President Akufo-Addo Swears in Three New Justices of the Supreme Court



On Wednesday, 3rd January 2024, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo officiated the swearing-in ceremony for three new Justices of the Supreme Court. These appointments come as a response to the vacancies left by the mandatory retirements of Justice Nene Ofoe Amegatcher on 3rd February 2023, Chief Justice Anin Yeboah on 24th May 2023, and Justice Jones Dotse on 8th June 2023.


The newly appointed Justices are Henry Anthony Kwofie, Yaw Darko Asare, and Richard Adjei-Frimpong. President Akufo-Addo extended his congratulations to the new members of the Supreme Court, acknowledging their appointments to the highest judicial body in the country.
