Otto Addo Names 25-man Squad for AFCON Qualifiers Against Sudan

In preparation for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers doubleheader against Sudan, Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has unveiled his squad.

The 25-man list includes the return of Alexander Djiku and Ernest Nuamah, who missed the previous qualifiers due to injuries. Additionally, Atalanta midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana, who has recovered from an injury, is also making a comeback to the team after missing out last time.

Gideon Mensah, who recently returned to Auxerre after a 72-day absence, has also been included in the squad. The Black Stars are eager to regain momentum in their qualifying campaign after a challenging start, with a 0-1 record in their initial two games against Angola and Niger.

The first leg of the upcoming matches will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, October 10, with the return leg scheduled for October 15. Ghana will be looking to secure positive results in both fixtures to strengthen their position in the qualifying campaign.
