On Monday, President Addo left Ghana for a 6-day working tour of Spain, France, and the UK. Accompanying him on his trip was the Minister of Energy, Climate Change, Energy, and National Innovation, Hon Dr Kwaku AFriyie.
On Tuesday, June 20th 2023, President Addo will attend the meeting of the West African and Sahel Heads of State and Government at the Cordoba Palace in Spain.
The next day, June 23rd, 2023, he will travel to France to attend the summit for a new global financial compact, which will take place on June 22nd-23rd, 2023.
Following this, he will proceed to the UK on June 24th, 2023, for a personal visit.
In his absence, President Addo is expected to be replaced by the Vice President in accordance with Article 60, Section 8 of the Constitution.
