Organized Labor issues nationwide strike call on July 10

A nationwide strike by Organized Labour is planned to start on July 10 in protest of the firing of three Sunon Asogli Power employees who attempted to organize a union there.

According to reports, the fired employees at Asogli started unionization efforts, but as a result of a dispute with the business' management, they were fired.

Thus, organized labor has demanded their restoration and warned that they will go on strike beginning July 10, 2023.
