A horrifying accident on the Kumasi-Techiman highway leaves four people dead

 

At least four individuals are reported to have lost their lives in a catastrophic incident on the highway between Kumasi and Techiman, Ghana, on Wednesday morning, August 2. 

The incident, which reportedly involved a private bus carrying a VIP and a commercial truck, took place at Nkenkasu, Ashanti Region.

Witnesses have reported that the driver of a VIP bus, identified as AP 1986-22, drove off the road and collided with a truck, which was travelling in the opposite direction towards Techiman, while the truck, which was carrying a cargo of cereals, was headed towards Kumasi.

The injured personnel have been transported to the Government Hospital in Nkenkaasu for medical care.
